Frequently asked questions

Clear answers to buyer-grade questions regarding rates, crew staffing, logistics, and compliance for corporate and production sets across the Front Range.

How much does a corporate hair and makeup team cost?

Corporate Hair and Makeup Team Pricing

Investment ranges from $150–$300+ per artist, depending on:

  • Team size and headcount – Larger teams receive volume pricing
  • Service complexity – Basic grooming vs. full glam + touch-ups
  • Event duration – Half-day vs. full-day coverage
  • Location – Denver metro vs. outlying areas (travel fees may apply)

Typical scenarios:

  • Small team (5–10 people): $600–$1,200 total
  • Mid-size (15–25 people): $1,500–$2,500 total
  • Large production/conference (30+ people): Custom quote with preferred rates

What's included: ✓ Professional-grade products
✓ On-site service at your office, venue or set
✓ Touch-up kit for key talent
✓ Licensing, insurance and COI available

How many artists do I need for my headcount?

General rule of thumb: 1 artist per 3–4 people for camera-ready first looks.

But timing matters—here's how we calculate your ideal team size:

Service Time Breakdown

Men's camera-ready makeup takes about 15 minutes—perfect for headshots, corporate video, or TV segments.

Women's services vary by complexity: a touch-up and polish takes 20 minutes for a natural corporate look, while full face makeup takes 35 minutes for photography, on-camera talent, or speakers. Hair styling adds another 30 minutes for polished corporate or on-stage looks.

Full speaker glam (hair + makeup) requires 1.5 hours for keynote speakers, MCs, and stage presentations who need that complete camera-ready transformation.

Scaling Your Team

For high-volume or time-compressed schedules, we add artists to keep you on track:

Fast touch-up stations for powdering, blotting, and quick fixes can be handled by 1 artist all day. High-volume headshot days need multiple artists running simultaneous stations. Compressed call times—when your entire team needs to be camera-ready by 9 AM—require scaled-up staffing.

VIP or lead talent appearing on-camera for 4+ hours? We recommend 2 dedicated artists: one for initial full glam, and one for continuous on-set touch-ups and production support throughout the day.

Real-World Examples

A corporate headshot day with 20 people over 4 hours runs smoothly with 2–3 artists handling staggered appointments.

A panel discussion with 6 speakers and a 2-hour prep window needs 2 artists to ensure everyone's ready with buffer time.

An all-day conference with 1 keynote MC plus 30 attendee touch-ups works best with 2 artists: one dedicated to the MC for full 1.5-hour service plus on-call touch-ups, and one floating for the attendee station.

A live broadcast with 3 on-air talent during a 6-hour shoot requires 2–3 artists for continuous touch-ups between segments.

Not Sure What You Need?

Share your headcount, timeline, and event type—we'll build a custom artist schedule that keeps your production running precisely on time.

Do you come to our office, venue, or set?

Yes—we are a fully mobile, on-site service. We bring professional kits, lighting, and styling chairs directly to your location.

We work at:

  • Corporate offices and boardrooms
  • Conference centers and green rooms
  • Photo studios and soundstages
  • Outdoor film locations

All we need: A private or semi-private space and access to power outlets. We arrive 30–45 minutes early for setup and handle everything—arrival, service, breakdown, and cleanup.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Every artist on our team is fully licensed and carries comprehensive commercial liability insurance. We maintain rigorous sanitation standards and professional industry credentials.

Can you provide a COI and sign an NDA?

Can you invoice us, complete vendor onboarding, and submit a W-9?

Yes. We work smoothly with corporate procurement and production accounting departments. We provide completed W-9 forms, submit required vendor onboarding documentation, and accept net-term corporate invoicing or ACH payments.

How far in advance should we book?

Booking 2 to 4 weeks in advance is recommended to ensure your preferred crew size and schedule. However, because we manage a wide network of local professionals, short-notice and same-week bookings are often possible.

Do you cover Boulder, Golden, and Castle Rock? Is there a travel fee?

Yes, we regularly service Boulder, Golden, Castle Rock, and the wider Denver metro area. Travel fees are transparently outlined based on mileage and parking for locations outside our core metropolitan radius.

Do you work union productions?

We staff both commercial non-union jobs and select union productions depending on kit requirements, role definitions, and call sheet guidelines. Contact us with your project details to review compliance.

Do you offer repeat-client or preferred rates?

Yes, we offer preferred partner pricing and retainers for production companies, corporate agencies, and recurring commercial clients who book recurring shoots or ongoing multi-day conventions throughout the year.
