Prom season in Colorado is officially here — and if you haven’t found the dress yet, don’t panic. The Denver metro area has some incredible options whether you’re looking for a jaw-dropping designer gown, a budget-friendly steal, or something in between.
As a traveling hair and makeup artist who works with prom girls across Westminster, Denver, Boulder, Broomfield, Cherry Creek and beyond, I get asked about dress shopping all the time. So here’s my honest, curated list of the best places to find your prom dress in the Denver area for 2026.

1. TBC Occasions at The Bridal Collection — Centennial

Best for: Designer gowns, huge selection, the full boutique experience
If you want the real deal — the appointment, the stylist, the “yes, this is THE dress” moment — TBC Occasions is it. Located inside Colorado’s top-rated bridal shop, The Bridal Collection, TBC Occasions is their dedicated prom, pageant, quinceañera and special occasion division with hundreds of gowns from top designers like Sherri Hill, Jovani, and more.
This is the spot for girls who want to feel like they’re shopping for something special — because they are. The staff actually knows fashion, the selection is massive, and they have a dress registration system so you won’t show up to prom in the same dress as your best friend.

2. Mimi’s Prom Denver

Best for: The largest selection in the Rocky Mountain region
Mimi’s is a prom institution — they claim the largest prom dress selection in the Midwest and Rocky Mountain region and honestly, it shows. If you want options, this is your place. They’re actively stocking 2026 styles right now and are a go-to for girls who want to browse a massive selection before committing.
Great for the girl who has a vague vision but needs to try on a lot of dresses to figure out what she actually loves.

3. White Oak Formal Boutique

Best for: Trendy, current styles with a boutique feel
White Oak is having a moment — they just hosted a 2026 prom fashion show and their Instagram is full of fresh, on-trend arrivals. If your girl knows exactly what aesthetic she’s going for and wants something current and fashion-forward, White Oak is worth a visit.
Smaller and more curated than the big stores, which means a more personal experience and styles you won’t see everywhere.

4. D’Anelli Bridal — Lakewood

Best for: Classic elegance, dress registration, legacy boutique experience
D’Anelli has been dressing Colorado women since 1983 — and that kind of longevity means they know what they’re doing. Their prom and special occasion collection is hand-selected, and like TBC they offer dress registration so your look stays uniquely yours on the big night.
Perfect for the girl who wants something timeless rather than trendy — sophisticated, classic, and beautifully made.

5. Gabriela Couture

Best for: Higher-end, luxury boutique experience
The highest-rated prom boutique on Yelp in the Denver area — Gabriela Couture is for the girl (and mom) who wants a truly elevated experience. Boutique-style, carefully curated, and designed for the client who cares about quality as much as style.
If budget isn’t the top concern and you want something truly special, this is the pick.

6. My Dress Store — NEW LOCATION

Best for: Budget-friendly finds, dress rental, trade-up deals
Not every family wants to spend hundreds on a dress worn once — and that’s completely valid. My Dress Store is a hidden gem in the Denver area offering beautiful formal gowns at genuinely affordable prices:

•Floor length formals: $50–$100
•Short semi-formals: $25–$60
•Little girls dresses: $10–$40

AND — this is the part I love — they offer a Dress Trade-Up program (bring your old dress, get up to half off your new one) and a Dress Rental option where you bring the dress back after the event for up to half your money back. They also do alterations on-site.
Note: My Dress Store recently moved to a new location — follow them on Facebook and Instagram for their updated address and latest inventory.

One More Thing — Don’t Forget the Glam

Once you’ve found the dress, it’s time to think about hair and makeup. I’m a traveling hair and makeup artist serving the entire Denver metro area — Westminster, Broomfield, Boulder, Cherry Creek, Lakewood, Centennial and beyond — and I offer a prom hair and makeup package starting at $120 for high school students.
I come to you, I bring everything, and I’ll make sure your look lasts from photos at home to the last song of the night.
