Let's talk about the starting point...
My goal as an artist is to offer an experience that is honest, transparent, and simple to book from the very beginning. I know that one of the first things most brides want to understand is pricing, and that is entirely natural. Since wedding planning can quickly become overwhelming, let’s start by walking through the services and what you can expect in terms of investment.

Additional Artist Investment: $50 booking fee per additional artist
Additional artists are one of the most important investments to consider when building a smooth and stress-free wedding morning. Each artist on my team is chosen with care and held to the same high standard of professionalism, presence, and artistry. Their time and talent are deeply valued, and just like mine, their calendars are reserved specifically for your event once booked.
Travel investment also applies to each additional artist, as we do not travel together. This is done intentionally to create a more reliable experience and protect your timeline, so your coverage remains supported even if something unexpected happens in transit.
- The Real Value Behind an Additional Artist
For larger bridal parties with a shorter timeline, adding an additional artist is one of the most meaningful investments you can make. It creates more space for the morning to feel calm, joyful, and beautifully unhurried, while ensuring your bridesmaids and mothers are cared for with the same attention and intention. Rather than feeling rushed, everyone is able to settle into the experience and fully enjoy those special moments together. It is a thoughtful way to protect the atmosphere of the morning and make the start of your wedding day feel effortless.
Travel
I know travel fees can sometimes feel like an unexpected addition, which is why I believe in being transparent about what they cover. Travel is not simply about distance — it includes time on the road, gas, maintenance, insurance, and the physical and mental energy required to travel from venue to venue throughout the season. This investment helps ensure that I can continue providing a timely, polished, and luxurious experience for each bride I serve.
Early Start:
$200 will be added for start times between 3am - 5am, $100 for start times between 5:15 am and 7:00 am, $50 will be added for any booking service time starting between 7:15 am and 8:00am
Additional Service Time: $100 per hour
Book your lead artist to stay post contracted end time to do touchups post ceremony, pictures, or through the night for anyone that received services. We will always book this to an artist that does both hair and makeup if those services are contracted.
Accomodations:
If your venue or booking location is more than 2 hours from Denver, Colorado during peak season (May–October), or more than 1.5 hours from Denver during off-season months (November–April), accommodations for your artist the night before will be required. Depending on your end time and the overall timeline of services, accommodations may also be needed for the night of the event.
For weddings requiring air travel, flights must be booked to arrive the day before the event and depart the day after. Same-day flights are not accepted for stylists, as this allows for a smoother, more reliable experience and ensures your artist is fully rested and present for your day.
Because every wedding is a little different, travel details are always reviewed on a case-by-case basis. My goal is to make sure everything is planned with care so your wedding morning feels seamless, relaxed, and beautifully supported.
Bridal Look Preview
One of the next things many brides begin thinking about is the trial, or what I prefer to call your bridal preview. It is a chance to bring your vision to life in a thoughtful, intentional way and to see how every detail comes together before the wedding day. More than simply “trying out” a look, this appointment is about refinement — creating something that feels beautifully aligned with your features, your gown, and the overall atmosphere of your celebration.
I offer bridal previews 4–6 weeks before the wedding, as I have found this to be the most beneficial timing. By then, the details of your day tend to feel more fully realized, allowing us to make decisions with greater clarity and purpose. This ensures your final look feels cohesive, elevated, and unmistakably you, while also giving you the confidence and peace of mind that everything has been carefully considered in advance.
I share more in depth about this timing on my blog and Q&A page, but I am always happy to speak through it personally as well. When we connect, I can walk you through the reasoning, answer any questions, and help you understand what will best serve your experience leading up to the wedding day.

When You’d Prefer to Book a Service Before Committing
Now that the investment details are in place, I completely understand why some brides would love the chance to experience hair and makeup — and spend time with me in person — before officially reserving their wedding date. Because of that, I do offer in-studio hair and makeup appointments that can feel similar to a trial, while serving a slightly different purpose. I share more about that distinction on my Q&A page and in Pretrial 101, and I am always happy to talk through it with you personally as well.
That said, I want to be very transparent: I only accept one wedding per day throughout the season, and dates are secured only once your contract is signed and your deposit has been received. While you are absolutely welcome to book an in-studio appointment before making your decision, your wedding date cannot be held in the meantime. If another bride completes her booking first, the date may no longer be available.
If your heart is set on working together, the kindest advice I can give is not to wait too long. I want you to feel fully confident in your decision, while also protecting the opportunity to have your date reserved and your wedding morning intentionally held just for you.
This isn't about me but I'll take a second to introduce myself.
While this experience is, and always will be, centered around you, I would love to take a quiet moment to introduce myself. I’m Jessica — the owner and artist behind Jessica Hair & Makeup Artistry. When you choose to book with my brand, you are choosing to book directly with me. It is a personal experience, never passed off to a large team or an unfamiliar artist, and I believe there is something so meaningful in knowing exactly who will be by your side on one of the most intimate and unforgettable mornings of your life.
I am a licensed and insured cosmetologist with advanced education in skincare and esthetics, and that foundation has shaped the way I approach beauty as a whole. My artistry is rooted in a skincare-first philosophy and centered around creating looks that feel soft, radiant, refined, and timeless. I believe bridal beauty should never feel heavy or overdone. It should feel like an enhancement of what is already there — polished, effortless, luminous, and unmistakably you.
I have been part of the wedding industry since 2016 and have had the honor of serving hundreds of brides across every kind of celebration, from large wedding mornings filled with energy and anticipation to the quiet intimacy of micro weddings and elopements. Over the years, I have lovingly refined my specialty in soft glam makeup and beautifully structured hairstyles that are made to last, photograph beautifully, and move with you throughout the day. If you are dreaming of fresh, flawless skin, soft romantic beauty, and hair that feels both secure and elegant, you are exactly where you are meant to be.
More than anything, I feel deeply honored to do this work. To be invited into such love-filled spaces, to witness the excitement, the emotion, the beauty, and the beginning of a marriage — it is something I never take lightly. My hope is always to bring a calm presence, a thoughtful hand, and an experience that allows you to slow down, soak it all in, and fully enjoy the morning you marry your best friend.

It’s the secret to that 'Soft Glam' look that feels as light as air."
